Skills you actually train
Your weapon mastery, shielding, magic and gathering improve through use. A veteran character feels earned, not selected from a menu.
An old-school world, built for your phone
If you miss the deliberate hunts, earned skills, risky exploration and player-driven stories of early tile-based online RPGs, enter Tikal — an original world designed from the ground up for touch.
Familiar foundations, a new legend
Tikal keeps the qualities that made classic 2D MMORPGs memorable: readable tile movement, meaningful character growth, danger beyond the city walls and a world shared with real people.
Your weapon mastery, shielding, magic and gathering improve through use. A veteran character feels earned, not selected from a menu.
Prepare supplies, learn when to retreat and protect what you carry. Death matters, which makes surviving a deep hunt matter too.
Trade, join guilds, climb rankings, form hunting parties, enter arenas and meet the same names again across one living online kingdom.
Inspired by an era, not borrowed from a game
Tikal speaks to players who enjoy the same broad design tradition as classic Tibia-era worlds and mobile 2D MMORPGs such as Kakele and Warspear: top-down tile movement, four distinct combat callings, skill progression, open-world hunting, trading, guilds and consequential death.
A complete online RPG in your pocket
This is not a desktop interface squeezed onto a phone. Tikal's controls, hotbar, inventory, chat and game windows are designed for touch, portrait and landscape play.
Use one account everywhere. Continue the same character and progress on any supported platform.
Stand firm as a Jaguar Knight, hunt at range as an Eagle Paladin, or command magic as a Sky Sorcerer or Jade Druid.
Cross cities, islands, caves, temples and multi-level ruins. Discover shortcuts, dangerous camps and hidden quest chambers.
Fish, harvest, craft, trade on the player market, complete achievements, join world events and build your reputation.
Your first steps
Wake on the shore of Mayahuel with no vocation and little more than a backpack. Learn to fight Rats and Wolves, help the people of Stone Terrace and swear a calling at level eight.
Then the temple tide carries you to Palm Haven. Mainland Tikal opens into cities, wild hunting regions, guild rivalries, story quests, world bosses and party dungeons built for years of character growth.
